Diagonal - Easy/Flick Your Cig (PRE-ORDER)

Coming off the release of our self-titled LP on Little Cloud Records we got right back into the garage and starting working on new ideas. "Easy" came to life in the summer of 2021 and practically wrote itself within the first couple of demos. The basic vibe was there, the Beatles-esque instrumental break lasted anywhere between 2-10 minutes depending on the mood in the room. Somehow, it took us until November of 2023 to get back into the studio to record this modest 6 minute version you'll come to know and love. 

Our engineer and overall production guru, Brian Fox, thought we should try a second song that day. We didn't have one in mind, but after resurrecting an old fuzz riff our guitarist Alex had been messing with, "Flick Your Cig" began to form. After a few takes, the loose jam turned into something we could work with. 

So here we have the two sides of Diagonal, the laid-back '60s psychedelia of "Easy" juxtaposed with the guitar heavy, fuzzed out jam "Flick Your Cig". We wouldn't dare call one or the other an "A-Side" or a "B-side" so we're presenting this as a Double A-Side, play these in any order you like.
