The High Violets - To Where You Are

Introducing the Vinyl Remaster of The High Violets 2006 acclaimed album To Where You Are.  Now available in limited edition.

Described as “the right mixture of bite and beauty”, The High Violets walk gracefully between celestial guitar rumbles, power rock tracks, danceable electro undertones, and gentler pop inside a warm vocal sound-scape.

The songs, fueled by Kaitlyn ni Donovan’s ethereal vocals and Clint Sargent’s fluidly gorgeous guitar figures, have an immediate appeal with their mix of melody and psychedelic edginess.

To Where You Are was produced, engineered and mixed by Jeff Stuart Saltzman(Stephen Makams, Menomena, Death Cab for Cutie) and Tony Lash (Dandy Warhols Elliott Smith, Tahiti 80), and originally mastered by Multiple Grammy-nominated, Jeff Lipton for CD and streaming. We needed to track down the original mixes and master them at lower level for vinyl production. Fortunately, Jeff was able to restore the mixes from his archives. Many thanks to Tom Nunes who did an incredible job on vinyl mastering.
